Irene Rainer grew up in South Tyrol (Italy) and is currently studying at the Institute Art Gender Nature - HGK in Basel (Switzerland).
As a multidisciplinary artist, she works with sculptures, drawings, photography, moving images, installations, and actions.
Her particular focus is on "embodied knowledge" - the understanding of the relationship between humans and nature rooted in physical
experiences, to reflect on changes over time.
