Potential Landscape , 2025
Aluminium sheets
plaster moulds
casts of beewax oil pastels
This body of work is part of a profound reflection on the nature
of landscape – a question that has long inspired my practice.
What exactly is a landscape?
To explore this, I propose a potential landscape.
A landscape that cannot be found.
It is not out there, but in an intermediate space:
between presence, absence and desire.
I was interested in painting landscapes.
Every gesture left traces that I constantly erased.
This landscape exists only as a possibility, as a hope –
a memory that refuses to take its full form,
an image that disappears as soon as it appears.
